How to start with Invisalign:
Before starting Invisalign treatment, an x-ray is taken for diagnostic purposes, to ensure you don’t have any ongoing dental concerns that need to be addressed before your teeth can be aligned.
- The dentist evaluates the x-rays and determines a diagnosis, followed by a treatment plan.
- A digital scan is then taken with our iTero scanner that allows the dentist to see your teeth in a 3D format and create a customized treatment plan for you.
- The digital scan is then sent to Invisalign to create a more detailed treatment plan for aligning your teeth into the ideal position for you. This detailed treatment plan tells us how long and what types of movements your teeth will be making.
- Aligners are made for each stage of treatment with each aligner worn from one to two weeks at a time for 22 hours a day. As the teeth slowly move into the desired position.
